INSTRUCTION
HITTING THE BALL HIGHER
By Bob Miller and Jeff Blanchard
Photography by George Peet
During a normal round of golf
there will be times when you will need to hit the ball high. For
example, you may find yourself behind some trees at the corner
of a dogleg hole. Being able to hit over those trees may enable
you to reach the green. Here's how to do it.

1. Grip the club at the end of the grip and position your
feet so that the ball is slightly in front of center. |

2. Tilt your shoulders so that the leading shoulder is angled
higher than the following shoulder. |

3. Take a full swing and be sure to make a full follow through.
